This is a Hybrid role; the Quality Assurance team works from our Cardiff Office 3 days per week. Please note, your first 3 months will be 5 days a week during training. You will need to be within a commutable distance from the Cardiff Office.

Quality Assurance Officer at Capital on Tap

The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for maintaining effective controls within our Financial Crime team without compromising customer experience. You will conduct regular quality checks on team performance and procedures, providing ongoing feedback and training.

  • Conduct regular reviews on onboarding rules, customer screening, and actions taken by the FinCrime team.
  • Review monitoring alerts, periodic reviews, and actions by the FinCrime investigations team.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and monitor team members' progress against performance metrics.
  • Identify training gaps and deliver structured training to promote growth within the FinCrime team.
  • Develop and enhance quality assurance processes aligned with high internal and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize QA data to drive continuous improvement in policies, procedures, and training.
  • Prior experience in a QA or training-related role.
  • Experience making independent risk-based judgments on fraud or AML investigations.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Crime regulations, responsibilities, and risks faced by Capital on Tap.
  • Proactive in suggesting improvements and asking questions for clarity.
  • Effective communication skills to provide constructive feedback and develop action plans.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

  • Salary range: £28,000 - £31,000 DOE
