About the Role
We are looking for an individual to identify issues and provide solutions for the management, organisation, and delivery of essential administrative processes related to education programmes. The key areas to address are quality of information and documentation, compliance with University regulations, programme content, and management of assessments with a focus on quality assurance and maintaining up-to-date records. The post holder will design and implement systems related to quality processes and tracking information required for professional bodies. They will be a key member of the Taught Programmes Team, responsible for creating, checking, and maintaining documentation and archives of programme content and schedules, working closely with academic staff to ensure an excellent student experience.
About You
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have administrative experience, ideally within Quality Assurance in Higher Education. Experience in developing procedures and informing decision-making is desirable. You should be a team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, capable of balancing competing pressures, deadlines, and complex demands.
About the School of Engineering and Materials Science
This school has approximately 110 academics, a similar number of research staff, around 1000 undergraduates and taught postgraduates, and 220 PhD students. The staff and students are diverse and international. Administrative staff work on campus at least three days a week.
