Job summary

The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join the Quality Assurance Team within Adult and Children's Social Care. You will implement the council’s Quality Assurance Framework for all Care Provider Services, including Supported Accommodation, and work with internal and external partners to monitor, evaluate, and improve care quality.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated person to join our Quality Assurance Team within Adult and Children's Social Care. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving the quality of care and support services and ensuring residents of the London Borough of Hillingdon receive safe, effective and high-quality care. As a Quality Assurance Officer you will be expected to implement the London Borough of Hillingdon's Quality Assurance Framework for all Care Provider Services in the Borough including Supported Accommodation.

Your role would be to monitor and evaluate the quality of care service provision promoting ways of working that are: Person centred /outcome focussed; inclusive; and ensure that the care provisions are well led. You will be expected to work closely with internal and external partners, you will use performance and quality information to identify risks, drive improvement.

About You

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Experience of quality assurance, auditing, inspection or service improvement within health or social care.
  • Knowledge of CQC and Ofsted standards, safeguarding, governance and quality monitoring processes.
  • Excellent analytical, report-writing and communication skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships while providing appropriate challenge and support.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and achieving positive outcomes for residents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
