We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Glasgow and drive process improvements, ensuring compliance, and optimizing performance. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, proactively identify opportunities, and help shape the quality system in the company. Your key responsibilities will be:

1. Provide expert advice and support to enhance site quality performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and other relevant certifications, such as Halal and Kosher.
3. Assist the Quality Manager with the completion and archiving of customer questionnaires.
4. Organize and support internal Safety, Health, and Environment and additional audits.
5. Record and track corrective and preventive actions, including actions related to customer complaints.
6. Assist in the implementation and management of the document control system.
7. Support and participate in quality improvement projects.
8. Analyze quality data and provide recommendations for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Your qualifications include:

1. 3-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with various levels and departments within the organization.
3. Ability to work independently.
4. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
5. Strong knowledge of quality standards, including ISO 9001 and 14001.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
7. Solution-oriented and results-driven approach to work.
8. Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
9. Demonstrates accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
