Job description

Potensis Selection is pleased to partner with an award winning house builder who is looking to expand their existing team and recruit a Quality Manager.

The Role:
  1. Conduct regular site inspections of our developments at key stages of the build programme.
  2. Perform pre-occupation inspections to ensure that the plots are at a high quality prior to the handover to our customers.
  3. Collaborate with the site management team to ensure that any identified remedial works are implemented and schedule in re-inspections as required.
  4. Provide regular and structured feedback to the Construction Director to discuss and manage any quality issues.
  5. Support the site management team on mitigating recurring quality issues and ensuring best practice is followed.
  6. Produce monthly reports for each development for inclusion in the Board papers.
  7. Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Proven experience working for a residential house builder in a similar level role.
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of new build warranty standards and regulations, with proven application in quality inspections.
  3. Demonstrable understanding and application of health and safety best practice and legislation.
  4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
  5. A mindset focused on continuous improvement and driving excellence.
