A leading sweetener company in the UK is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and improve their Food Safety and Quality Management System. Responsibilities include leading audits, managing customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and in-depth knowledge of food safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality standards.
The purpose of the Quality Assurance Manager role is to initiate quality improvements within T&L Sugars, leveraging experience in the food and/or sugar industry to define best practices and anticipate customer and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, or a related discipline.
Work Experience: Experience with BRCGS Food Safety certification, HACCP principles, customer quality codes, food manufacturing practices, and legislation. Experience in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory is desirable.
