About us:
At David Wood Baking we have over 20 years’ experience in the bakery business, and if one thing is clear about our company it’s that we’re passionate about baking. We currently produce a range of quality frozen 'bake off' and craft bakery products encompassing Savoury Pastry, Sweet Pastry, Bread, Morning Goods and Confectionery products from six cutting-edge bakeries around the UK.
Scope:
Reports to the Head of Technical, working in conjunction with another QA Manager, and sharing full responsibility for the QA Department
Through the continual management, development and auditing of the Quality Management System ensure that the appropriate process control systems and procedures exist to deliver consistent and effective control of all products.
To deliver a Continuous Quality & Food Safety Improvement program through the development and implementation of improvement techniques on site.
The Role:
To work closely with the Operations Management team to ensure all Food Safety, Quality and Legal requirements are controlled and met.
