Job summary

Gafoor, a Preston-based family-owned business, is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality operations at a single site in Lancashire. In this full-time, permanent role you will maintain and enhance food safety and quality standards across the production lifecycle, lead the QA team, and ensure HACCP and BRC compliance for poultry products supplied to UK manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in food or poultry manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP and BRC.
• Excellent leadership and communication, with team motivation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor quality control procedures.
• UK right-to-work required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality operations at Gafoor's single site in Preston, Lancashire.
• Maintain and enhance food safety and quality standards across production.
• Lead and develop the QA team to achieve compliance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with production, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
