Job summary

MBDA Missile Systems in Bolton seeks an experienced Quality Assurance professional to lead QA activities across Manufacturing and Supply Chain, supporting complex Weapon System production lines. You will drive problem-solving, ensure industrialisation quality, and coordinate non-conformance processes, working with cross-functional teams to protect delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Preferably degree educated, or substantial experience in Quality Management.
• Practitioner of QA problem solving methods (8D, Six Sigma, DMAIC).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.
• Self-motivated with persistence to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate QA activities across the Manufacturing and Supply Chain to reduce production quality risks.
• Lead multi-functional teams to resolve production line issues using standard problem-solving tools.
• Lead assurance activities for industrialisation of production lines and mitigate risks (PFMEA, Control Plans, etc.).
• Lead Project Manufacturing Non-Conformance Panels and escalate critical issues to senior management.
• Conduct non-conformance data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Act as primary interface to Customer for project contractual deliverables from the Bolton facility.
