Job summary

A leading global beverage company is seeking a qualified individual to lead and develop Lab Technicians and Team Leaders at their Sidcup Operations. Qualifications

  • Support all QESH audits, preparing action plans as needed.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, develop, and coach Lab Technicians, Technical Operators, and Team Leaders to maximize individual and team performance.
  2. Support Production Managers and Team Leaders in managing Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Health topics through advice and training.
  3. Manage the complaints process within your Business Unit/Area, including investigation, action plan development, and implementation.
  4. Support all QESH audits, preparing action plans from observations and ensuring their execution.
  5. Collaborate with Engineering & Technology departments on new investments and initiatives.
  6. Manage and track QESH KPIs, implementing improvements when necessary.
  7. Participate in Operational Excellence projects and provide Quality Data as required.
  8. Engage in monthly data reconciliation, audits, inspections, and related training.
  9. Perform other responsibilities related to QESH functions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience operating in a FMCG production laboratory, preferably in the beverage industry.
  • Basic microbiological knowledge and food safety expertise.
  • Degree in Science (e.g., chemistry, pharmacy, biology) or equivalent.
  • Technical skills in Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing processes, and Data Analysis.
  • Strong commitment to ethics and compliance.
  • Ability to work flexibly within the Business Unit.
