Responsibilities
  • Perform checks on printed items (UPC scans, visual inspection, tape testing, IPA testing, Sutherland rub, and other tests required by customers).
  • Enter NCMRs, contain, and place suspect products on hold.
  • Challenge metal detectors and skid scanners.
  • Train new inspectors on procedures regarding new products or test methods.
  • Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customers.
  • Assist in pulling micro samples monthly.
  • Help prepare AW for audits (IMS, customer, ISO, SQF).
  • Maintain and enforce all safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirements.

Authorities:

  • Put product on hold in JDE.
  • Contain defective product.
  • Enter NCMR information.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma (preferred) or GED equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a printing operator (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or the ability to learn.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and auditors.
  • Knowledge of C-Pro, ISO, SQF, IMS, and HACCP standards.
