Qualifications
  • High school diploma (preferred) or GED equivalent
  • Prior experience as a Printing Operator (preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Computer skills (Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word or the ability to learn)
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
  • Ability to communicate with customers and auditors in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of C-Pro, ISO, SQF, IMS, and HACCP
Responsibilities
  • Perform checks on the line of printed items (UPC scans, visual inspection, tape testing, IPA testing, Sutherland rub, and all other tests required by customers)
  • Enter NCMRs and contain and place suspect product on hold
  • Challenge metal detectors
  • Challenge skid scanners
  • Train new inspectors on procedures regarding new products or test methods
  • Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customers
  • Help pull micro samples monthly
  • Help to prepare AW for audits (IMS, customer, ISO, and SQF)
  • Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirements.
