Quality Assurance Information Specialist I

Summary

As a member of our Quality Assurance Team, the QAIS I ensures program quality standards are implemented in all departments through review of program data. The QAIS I supports program services integrity and compliance with all regulatory bodies and Everas policies and procedures, as well as makes specific recommendations to abate issues and continuously benchmark standards. QA Team members support program supervisors by providing direct guidance to staff, identifying agency trends, and implementing proactive and creative solutions in areas that require attention. Your commitment to excellence in services, collaborative mindset, professionalism, and high-level organizational skills are needed to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people in our programs.

Quality Assurance Information Specialist Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct all required investigations and inquiries within required timeframes
  • File all Unusual Incident Reports in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner
  • Participate in staff training to support employee development and performance, and ensure quality service provision
  • Evaluate agency wide incident data to make proactive recommendations to prevent accidents and injury
  • Support program documentation compliance as required

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 1 year of related work experience OR HS Diploma with minimum 5 years related experience
  • Experience in the I/DD field is required
  • Experience in information synthesis and analysis
  • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible schedule to include evenings/weekends
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Valid NJ Driver’s license
  • Willingness to meet NJ Executive Order 252, which requires employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster; at minimum one dose is required to begin employment with the expectation to complete subsequent doses as per recommended time frames; this requirement may be waived only in exceptional circumstances as outlined in the law.
