Bromford Flagship Livewest is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to audit heating service, repair and installation work across East region. You will review compliance with industry standards and company procedures, identify non-conformities, and drive corrective actions through detailed reports and collaborative coaching with operational teams.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with a permanent position and a company van.

Qualifications

• Must hold CCN1 and CMDDA1 qualifications, with Commercial Gas (COCN1) where applicable.
• Experience performing technical audits, inspections, and quality assurance assessments across heating installations.

Do you have extensive experience in domestic and commercial gas servicing, repairs, and installations Are you passionate about ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship? Can you confidently audit, inspect, and influence teams to continuously improve standards and customer outcomes?

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in protecting customers by ensuring heating systems are safe, compliant, and delivered to the highest standards. You'll provide technical assurance across heating service, repair, and installation activities through a structured programme of site-based and desktop audits.

Working closely with operational teams, you'll identify areas of non-compliance, provide expert technical guidance, and help drive continuous improvement across service delivery. Your work will ensure regulatory requirements are met while promoting a culture of quality, safety, and excellence.

Location: predominantly covering Suffolk and North Essex - although travel throughout the East Region will be required at times.

Hours: Full Time - 40 hpw - Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent + Company Van

Essential Qualifications & Certifications

• CCN1
• NVQ Level 3 in Gas Engineering (or equivalent)
• CMDDA1
• Unvented Hot Water Qualification
• Commercial Gas Qualification (COCN1)
• Gas Safe Registered Person requirements
• Health & Safety qualification/awareness
• SSCS (or equivalent)
• Level 3 Gas Audit Qualification
