Quality Assurance Engineer II, Alexa Subscription Growth

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) with a solid foundation in software testing and strong automation skills. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, possesses good interpersonal skills, and can work independently or in a team. You should be able to improve QA practices by establishing and documenting customer-focused processes and influencing team members to embrace best practices, pushing quality upstream. Your goal will be to create frictionless, simple, and delightful experiences for our customers.

Your responsibilities include defining test strategies and plans, reviewing them with stakeholders, improving test coverage, and enhancing automation. You will represent the customer perspective, understand user scenarios, and include relevant end-to-end scenarios in test plans and automation. Ensuring quality from requirements to release, you will work closely with designers and product teams to develop scalable solutions for millions of users. You will also contribute to new voice-based experiences and features.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience in automation testing
• Scripting or coding experience
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with automated test frameworks like Selenium or Appium
• Experience in creating detailed test plans and defining quality metrics
