Software QA Engineers collaborate with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementations.
QA Engineers at Amazon test the latest technology applications and products at both user and code levels, manually and with automated tools. They understand software internals, debug problems, and develop automated tests using scripting tools or user-level automation. QA Engineers are capable of managing tasks from start to finish with minimal assistance, including understanding the domain, developing test strategies, creating test cases, coordinating sign-offs, contributing to code-level testing, executing tests, and reporting results.
