Quality Assurance Engineer -1 (FTC), RoW Supply Chain

Quality Assurance Engineers at Amazon test cutting edge applications and products at the user level and code level, both manually and with automated tools. Our QAEs are not pure black box testers; they are able to understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with scripting tools and/or user-level automated tools. QAEs at Amazon are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion with minimal help. QAEs would be responsible for understanding the domain and the product in detail and coming up with the test strategy/planning, driving the test case sign-off processes with the stakeholders, contributing to code level Unit tests, test execution, and reporting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
2. Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
3. Experience in manual testing
4. Experience in automation testing
5. Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience in API & Mobile testing
2. Experience in Front-end testing
3. Experience in Test Automation

Key job responsibilities

This team defines, designs, and develops solutions for Fulfilment Center inbound, outbound, and other Supply Chain Execution processes. The optimisation processes thereby improve the fulfilment centre operations, Supply chain processes, and delivery experience of our end customers and our vendors who supply the great selection at Amazon. This also includes ML processes to optimise package-free shipments and box/tote recommendations.
