Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is a well-established and growing procurement specialist in the engineering sector, based in the Poole area. Due to continued success, they are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team to take responsibility for verifying quality assurance documentation and assurance.

Position Overview
  1. Creating and verifying quality assurance documentation to distribute to customers.
  2. Investigating quality and technical issues.
  3. Liaising closely with customers on engineering and quality matters.
  4. Providing support to overseas offices on quality assurance information.
  5. Providing the sales team with information on quality and technical documents.
Position Requirements
  1. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  2. Based in a commutable distance of Poole.
  3. Familiar with ISO9001 & TS16949 standards.
  4. Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and injection moulding.
  5. Good knowledge of MS Office packages such as Excel, Word, and Explorer.
Remuneration
  1. Starting salary: £25,000 - £35,000.
  2. 5-day working week, 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
  3. Holiday allowance and pension.
  4. Health Insurance.
