Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Quality & Assurance Coordinator to join our Business Assurance team within SSEN Distribution. You will support quality assurance activities, document control, business reporting and continuous improvement initiatives to help ensure we meet regulatory and operational commitments.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, manage documentation, and contribute to ongoing process improvements while supporting a culture of high standards and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting quality assurance, governance, compliance or business improvement activities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work to deadlines.
• Experience creating, maintaining or improving processes, procedures, guidance documents or operational standards.
• Good analytical skills with experience producing reports, maintaining databases or working with performance information.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders and influence positive change.

Responsibilities

Job description

Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations: Perth, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Portsmouth, or any SSEN location

Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

You'll play a key role in supporting quality assurance activities, document control, business reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives that help ensure we meet our regulatory and operational commitments.
