Job Description:

I have a fantastic role with a market-leading Food Manufacturer operating multiple sites in the UK. Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator based at their site in Oxfordshire, near Brackley. The role involves focusing on factory requirements, reporting to the Group Technical Director and Site GM.

You will be responsible for quality, food safety, hygiene, and site integrity standards across the site, owning the site’s Quality & Food Safety policy.

This large food manufacturing site services multiple customers, so we need an experienced candidate who enjoys working in a factory environment and can be organized, precise, and accurate to meet customer expectations regarding product quality.

Experience with fast-moving, short shelf-life food manufacturing environments such as Food To Go, Ready Meals, Bakery, Meat Processing, or Fresh Produce is essential. Extensive experience in supplying major UK retailers and maintaining BRC accreditation is also required. A Food Science degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.

  • Starting salary up to £45k
  • Normal working hours: 37.5 hours/week, ideally from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Holidays: 25 days plus all bank holidays
  • Pension: Employee minimum 4%, Employer 5%
