Job summary

Labcorp in Eye, Suffolk is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to join our onsite team, supporting GLP studies and QA activities across laboratory and office colleagues. You will audit protocols, data and reports, and help ensure compliance and continuous quality improvement.

The ideal candidate holds GCSEs in Science, Maths and English, with experience in regulated environments and strong communication skills. This is an onsite role with 37.5 hours/week at a site without public transport access.

Responsibilities

• Follow applicable policies and SOPs.
• Read and understand regulations for QA purposes.
• Conduct protocol reviews, data and report audits, and process inspections.
• Explain the role of QA for client audits.
• Establish relationships with operational colleagues.
• Ensure RC/QA responsibilities are followed.
• Support QA on projects at other sites.
• Contribute to local QA initiatives and SOP updates.

Labcorp is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor to join our team at Eye, Suffolk.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday – 37.5hrs

Job Responsibilities

• Follow applicable policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Navigate to the regulations and able to read/understand specific regulations
• Conduct Protocol review, data and report audits, process inspections
• Explain the role of QA (sufficient for client audits)
• Establish relationships with operational colleagues
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance (RC&QA) responsibilities, as indicated in applicable controlled documents, are followed
• Work with operational management to support Quality topics and/or working on projects with QA team on other sites
• Contribute to local Quality initiatives and process improvement initiatives aimed at improving compliance and/or efficiency of the local QA organization
• Create and/or re-write QA SOPs based on findings from local quality initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• GCSE in Science, Maths and English

Additional Job Standards

• Some work history of auditing or knowledge of regulatory requirements in a regulated environment working to GLP (Good laboratory practice) or GxP
• Excellent attention to detail paired with organisational and process improvement skills
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear feedback
• Experience using Microsoft Office packages to include Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel
• This is an onsite office based role
• Due to the remote location of this site, there are no public transport links available

The QA Auditor is responsible for auditing activities of GLP studies working alongside laboratory and office teams providing regulatory guidance and supporting the reporting of multiple studies and study types.
