JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance and Infection Preventionist Nurse provides guidance on infection control, skin assessments, safety, resident rights, training, and education. Assists in developing, implementing, and updating policies and procedures. Conducts system reviews, audits, data collection, and reports to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Leads and participates in the QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) program, engaging residents, families, and staff to promote quality care. Reviews unresolved issues from previous meetings to develop correction timelines.
