Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus.

Join Anglian Water as a Quality Technician and play a vital role in upholding the highest standards in our Analytical Services team.In this dynamic position youll support the Quality Manager and Deputy Quality Managers in maintaining and enhancing our quality systems. From coordinating document control and monitoring quality control processes to assisting with audits and competency assessments your work will directly contribute to ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. What will you be doing

  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards (e.g. ISO 17025 ISO 9001 DWTS MCERTS)
  • Coordinate the updating issue retrieval and archive of controlled procedures and methods.
  • Review the performance of analytical methods (e.g. Precision Bias Uncertainty of Measurement)
  • Assist in internal audit method witness and ongoing competency programmes
  • Coordinate participation in proficiency testing schemes and monitor performance
  • Identify and report non-conformances and assist in investigations
  • Provide information as required to meet the requirements of the Quality Management System and any other Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ensure that a Continued Professional Development portfolio is set up and maintained to demonstrate ongoing competency to meet regulatory requirements.

What does it take to be a Laboratory Quality Technician

  • Qualifications to A level standard
  • Good IT and communication skills Excel and Word
  • Experience in a laboratory setting is highly desirable
  • Experience performing non-conformance investigations
  • Experience performing internal audits method witness audits or Health and Safety audits would be an advantage.
