Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent standards required.
  • Experience in GMP, GxP, or regulated environments advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of audits, inspections, CAPA, and document control.

Salary - From £32,000 based on experience.

The Opportunity


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Advisor to join our Quality team. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Area Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supporting quality system processes, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing and operational activities.


What You Will Do

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
  • Review and help manage all quality-related processes, including customer feedback, internal auditing, and CAPA investigations.
  • Conduct quality checks, inspections, and audits on engineering processes, components, and finished products.
  • Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain accurate records of quality documentation, including inspection reports, calibration logs, and audit findings.
  • Assist with internal audits and prepare for customer or third-party audits.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are understood and followed.
  • Provide administrative support for quality processes such as training, document control, and supplier management.
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the business.

What You’ll Bring

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards. Experience within GMP, GxP, or regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices) would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of quality processes such as audits, inspections, CAPA, and document control.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
