Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced QA Technologist to join a Quality Assurance team in Lancing. In this role, you will manage customer accounts and orders while liaising with suppliers, customers, and test houses to agree on test protocols, request test reports, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

The ideal candidate will have previous QA experience, performing product risk assessments and advising sales and NPD teams on test costs, warnings, and compliance requirements. You will support the Technologists and deputise for the Head of Compliance, ensuring high quality and compliance standards are consistently met.

As a QA Technologist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, requesting and filing test reports
  • Conducting safety risk assessments to ensure compliance with retailer and market requirements
  • Advising on correct warnings, symbols, and packaging/instruction manual requirements
  • Keeping quality documentation up-to-date and ensuring technical standards are met
  • Assessing product compliance and advising on test costs and requirements

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
  • Ability to work across multiple functional teams
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Well organised and able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills and experience of Office 365

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, based in Lancing, with the option to work on a hybrid pattern twice a week after a successful probation period. The salary is between 30,000 - 35,000, dependent on skills and experience.
