About the role

Saturday to Wednesday | 6am – 2.30pm

Futures have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assistant on behalf of a leading, global, billion £ food manufacture who are well-known in the market for their great tasting products!

Sitting in the Technical team you will become the key on-site supplier contact and to develop beneficial working relationships. You will oversee the management of ingredients and packaging to ensure they are being delivered to site, inspected and a risk assessment scheduled.

Full training will be provided so no previous experience is required, we are open to candidates who are at recent Graduate level looking to kickstart their career or candidates with 1-2 years’ experience within a Technical/Quality role.

Key Duties Include:
– Provide technical guidance and knowledge to the Goods In
– General Raw Material administration work
– Forecast and provide appropriate levels of raw material performance feedback to the relevant members of the Technical team
– Manage factory raw materials issues in a timely and effective manner
– Assist and offer support in any other QA related tasks
– Take part of Internal and External Audits

Key Skills and Experienced Required:
– Understanding or an interest of all QA Department systems
– Understanding of the process interactions
– Relevant Food Science and/or Degree Level 3 Food safety qualification
– Assertive, proactive problem solver
– Computer literate in terms of SAP, Excel and Word
