Job description

Quality Assistant GBP12.80 per hour + Overtime

Location: Crewkerne
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Ongoing Temporary

Are you experienced in quality control and looking for a new role? We are hiring a Quality Assistant for a well-known manufacturing company in Crewkerne.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Check and measure components, keeping records up to date
  2. Help with calibrating and maintaining measurement tools
  3. Keep the Metrology Lab organised and up to company standards
  4. Support product and process checks during changes
  5. Make sure hand-held measuring tools are properly calibrated
  6. Work with the quality team to complete tasks efficiently
What You Need:
  1. Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
  2. Knowledge of measurement tools and techniques
  3. Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel & Word)
  4. Good time management in a busy workplace
  5. Strong teamwork and communication skills
