Job description

The quality apprentice will support the quality team and wider business by performing the following activities:

  1. In-process, final & goods-in inspection, using a variety of tools & equipment to support activity
  2. Support calibration/asset management across UMUK sites
  3. Support BMS process development to ensure alignment to international standards & customer requirements
  4. Assist in repair activities under supervision from senior technicians
  5. Support quality engineers in programme delivery activities and non-conformance management
  6. Lead and support improvement projects to support individual CPD & achieve business improvement targets

Typically, a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and some experience in assembly and testing are required.

May require maintaining security clearance.
