Job description

Join our team as a Quality Advisor and play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance and excellence in our operations across Scotland and the Northeast of England.

In this key role, you'll help drive compliance across GCU UK Ltd projects—supporting quality, health, safety, and environmental standards through effective audits and a focus on continuous improvement, while enhancing customer satisfaction by identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

What We expect of you:

As an Quality Advisor, you will take a hands-on approach to ensuring quality, safety, and environmental compliance across all projects. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to map and integrate quality requirements into operational plans and procurement schedules. Accurate record-keeping of audits, test results, and non-conformance reports will be essential.

You will drive root cause analysis for HSEQ issues, implementing corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness. Preparing clear reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance and trends will be part of your role, alongside overseeing incident and audit management with precision.

Managing the audit schedule and driving the closure of improvement actions in collaboration with project teams will also be key responsibilities.

Additionally, you’ll support the onboarding of new processes and personnel integration, verify environmental data including third-party information, and maintain governance through monthly reporting and system management.

Acting as a benchmark for others, you will promote a strong health and safety culture by contesting unsafe behaviours and staying up to date with relevant legislation. Your role is critical in fostering accountability and continuous improvement throughout the business.
