Heathrow H7 Project

This project covers airfield works (taxiways, runways, stands), civils (roads, demolition works, underground and above ground structures), and MEP packages (services tunnels, lifts, life safety systems, fuel/fire mains).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out internal and external quality audits.
  • Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and employer requirements; preparing high-standard reports and recording non-conformities and snags.
  • Overseeing site inspections and tests, ensuring they follow inspection and test plans; ensuring timely documentation.
  • Supervising subcontracted laboratories to ensure standards are met; raising non-conformances as needed.
  • Ensuring the project’s quality management plan is fully implemented.
  • Raising, tracking, and closing NCRs with proper corrective actions.
  • Delivering necessary quality paperwork for each work type.
  • Ensuring Material Approval Procedures are followed.
  • Promoting a culture of first-time quality and continuous improvement.
  • Assisting the Quality Manager and coordinating M&E commissioning processes.
  • Supporting the Handover Manager with documentation review, tracking, and handover processes.
  • Digitizing quality processes within the Common Data Environments.
  • Conducting quality inductions, workshops, lessons learned sessions, and briefings to ensure QA/QC plan compliance.
  • Maintaining Quality and Calibration Registers.
  • Assisting the Quality Manager as needed.
Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
  • Experience building relationships with external parties.
  • Strong knowledge of construction technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in construction.
  • Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills at various organizational levels.
  • CSCS card.
  • ISO 9001 certification.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, civils, mechanical, and electrical specifications and testing standards, calibration, construction materials, and proficiency with Office software and construction laboratories.
