Zusammenfassung

University of Edinburgh is seeking a part-time 9 hours per week Intern for qualitative analysis of social media posts within the Clinical and Applied Psychology department. The fixed-term role runs from 1 January to 31 May 2027, with a budgeted salary of £30,180 – £34,630 pro rata per year.

The intern will contribute to Reflexive Thematic Analysis of a social media dataset, under PI Dr Laura Cariola, as part of the BA/Leverhulme project. Hybrid working options may be considered.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a PhD in Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Experience of conducting Reflexive Thematic Analysis.
• Experience of qualitative research methodologies of social media data.
• Excellent skills with time management, problem solving, organisation, and communication.

Aufgaben

• Conduct Reflexive Thematic Analysis of a social media data set.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators on the BA/Leverhulme project.
• Support part-time internship activities for 9 hours per week and, where possible, hybrid working arrangements.
