We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, creating a community where colleagues feel respected and valued. We aim to reflect the diversity of our students and communities, and to strengthen our university through collaboration and diverse perspectives, across all roles at the University.
#INT Salary: Band 7 (UO31 to UO36) £39,906 – £46,049 per annum pro rata Part-time 40% FTE Fixed Term until 29 February 2028.
The post holder will undertake the qualitative work within the NEOREHAB trial. This will include focus groups with stakeholders (clinicians, exercise physiologists, patients) to refine the intervention; semi-structured interviews with patients and clinicians in the early months of the trial to pro-actively identify any issues with study processes. Further interviews with patients and clinicians to gain an in-depth understanding of trial feasibility and acceptability. At the end of the study the post holder will also interview patients and clinicians from different specialities to explore ways care could be redesigned, which clinicians should monitor patients, and how best to support patients.
The Research Fellow will be responsible for all data collection and analysis, with input from the wider team on analysis and interpretation of the findings. As interviews may take place face to face, this post will involve some travel across Leeds and Hull.
The post holder will be expected to attend courses provided by the university designed to aid their professional development. Liaison with and assisting NHS and other clinical collaborators regarding study set up, recruitment and conduct.
This position requires an Enhanced DBS check.
