We are now looking for an exceptional Year 6 Teacher to join our dynamic team in September 2025 and help guide our students towards success in their final year of primary education.

Role Overview:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for preparing our pupils for the next stage in their educational journey, delivering high-quality lessons that cover the full range of subjects and help students develop the skills and confidence they need for secondary school. You will be a key figure in their academic and emotional development, helping them navigate the challenges of Year 6, including SATs preparation, while fostering a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that challenge and inspire Year 6 students
  • Prepare pupils for SATs and ensure they are well-supported throughout the year
  • Monitor, track, and report on student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment where all students can thrive
  • Encourage independent learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the year group and school
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure positive relationships and support students' needs
  • Contribute to the broader school community, including extracurricular activities and school events

We are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A passion for working with Key Stage 2 students and a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum
  • Experience teaching Year 6 (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly in preparation for SATs
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, energetic, and proactive attitude to teaching
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being confident in working independently
