Job description

Location:Bedfordshire, Bedford

Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide high-quality tutoring in core subjects to students
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback for improvement
  • Support students in exam preparation and academic achievement
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject

Experience:

  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching core subjects
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in working with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
