The Role

Train drivers are essential to our business, ensuring the smooth operation of our trains. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join as Qualified Train Drivers in Norwich and Ipswich.

As a Qualified Train Driver, you will drive trains safely, punctually, and efficiently, adhering to Rules & Regulations to meet customer needs. Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and railway interfaces are vital for this role.

This role involves working various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, averaging 35 hours weekly over a 24-hour shift cycle.

Full uniform will be provided to reflect our values and brand.

What we are looking for

We seek individuals who can work independently, communicate well, and are organized with strong concentration skills. You should be responsible and capable of handling the duties of this role effectively.

Applicants must have train driving experience and be currently employed as a Qualified Mainline Driver at a train operating company. Demonstrate your motivation and reasons for applying clearly.

Experience driving passenger trains on the network and a passion for excellent customer service are essential.

This is a safety-critical position; candidates must have an impeccable safety record.
