Autism East Midlands is seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to support teachers in delivering high-quality education tailored to individual pupils with autism. You will work with a person-centred approach, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment and adapting methods to each pupil’s needs.
You must be comfortable providing intimate care and be committed to ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities offered by the school.
As a qualified Teaching Assistant, your role will be to support our teachers in providing and developing a high-quality education to address the individual needs of pupils. Good autism practice is essential to this role, along with a person-centred approach to learning. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the ability to be flexible and dynamic in your approaches. It is vital that you can maintain an environment where our pupils feel happy, safe and valued.
You will possess the relevant teaching assistant qualifications for this position and a qualifications matrix can be found on the person specification. As part of this role, you will need to be comfortable in providing intimate care.
