An established industry player is seeking a qualified teaching assistant to support students with special educational needs and disabilities in a mainstream primary school. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with children, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification or above and experience in working with SEND. We have a support staff vacancy for a qualified teaching assistant with experience of working with individuals with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This role is within the resource base of a mainstream primary school in Small Heath. You will work on a 1:1 or small group (2-3) basis with specific children. Due to the knowledge and expertise required for this role you will need to have a relatable level 3 qualification or above. Job details: • Supporting pupils with varying SEND challenges • Working on a one to one and small group basis • Full time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) • Ongoing basis, starting ASAP, and going through to July 2025 Requirements: • Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relatable subject/sector - Essential • Experience of working with pupils with SEND needs - Essential • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential • Minimum of 2 good references – Essential
