Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary by up to 45 minutes)

Do you have experience working with children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs(SEMH) or transferable skills from another sector? Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? If so, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEMH teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Milton Keynes. You will work closely with children who have special educational needs, supporting them both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or group support to pupils with SEMH

• Support learning during lessons and break/lunchtimes

• Assist the class teacher with daily activities

• Help maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment

• Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working with SEMH/SEN children (desirable, not essential)

• Be committed, patient, and reliable

• Show initiative and a proactive attitude – must

• Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
