Newly qualified teachers are welcome, but confidence in leading a class is essential. We work with various mainstream and special needs schools across the southwest and offer additional training, including Team Teach and Makaton. We offer rewarding and unique placements with excellent pay rates and the option of temp-to-perm roles. Most roles will start from September and be long-term placements. However, if you are looking to start ASAP, we can also try our best to help you with that.

Essential Criteria:

  1. At least 12 months of experience working with children/vulnerable adults
  2. QTS status
  3. A flexible and resourceful approach
  4. Patient and able to relate to the students
  5. Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
  6. Two recent child-based references and relevant DBS/Police checks
  7. Access to bicycle, car, or near main bus routes
  8. Able to work 8.30-3.30, 4-5 days per week term time only

Responsibilities and duties:

  1. Supporting the students in the class
  2. Using behaviour management techniques to keep students calm and maintain a safe working environment
  3. Helping TAs to manage 1:1 and small groups
  4. Implementing behaviour management tools in line with the school's policy

*If you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.

Note: The roles are term time only and start ASAP until July 22nd. They will then resume from September onwards.
