Overview

Tudor Employment Agency Ltd are currently recruiting for Qualified Support Workers for a Children’s Residential Care Home located in Burton on Trent.

We are looking for caring and committed Qualified Support Worker’s to support children and young people with learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and complex care needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Hours of Work: 2 days on shift (shift times are 8am – 10.30pm) then 4 days off (flexible based on requirements of the home)

Duties
  • Supporting children and young people with a range of needs including learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, and sensory impairments
  • Promoting independence and involvement in daily activities
  • Providing personal care and emotional support
  • Working collaboratively with the team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care plans
  • Supporting education, health, and social development
  • Participating in sleep-in shifts and flexible working patterns
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children and young people with complex needs
  • Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care or Children and Young People’s Workforce
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Familiarity with residential care principles
  • Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight
  • Must have valid Right To Work in the UK
