Location: Rickmansworth, Watford (Preparatory Independent School). Contract: Flexible, 1-5 days a week. Salary: Competitive, depending on experience. Start Date: Immediate. DBS Required and registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for their own).

Overview

We are currently seeking both teaching assistants and fully qualified teachers to support at one of our fabulous client schools based in Rickmansworth (WD3 post code area).

This school boasts themselves on providing high value teaching from both permanent members of the team, and their trusted agency suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and support across a variety of subjects and key stages, as required
  • Manage classrooms effectively and ensure a positive and productive learning environment
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school and maintain continuity in students' learning
  • Provide support and guidance to students as needed
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and leadership teams to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality service
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety protocols are adhered to at all times
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (for teachers only) in a UK school setting
  • Minimum 6 months of teaching assistant experience (for TA's only)
  • Valid DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one if required)
  • Flexibility to work 1-5 days per week, depending on availability and school needs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments and school cultures
