Job summary

Wiggett Group PLC is seeking an Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join our Brentwood head office. You will oversee completed works, sign off EICR certifications, and ensure compliance with British Standards.

The role involves post-completion inspections, shadowing operatives, and providing technical oversight, with some travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• 2391 Test and Inspection certification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within social housing.
• Strong knowledge of EICR processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Confidence to enrol with NICEIC as a Qualified Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Review completed jobs and ensure all compliance standards are met.
• Carry out visual checks of photographic evidence submitted by electricians.
• Verify and sign off EICR certifications.
• Conduct post-work inspections at properties and shadow operatives as required.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with current British Standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to electrical operatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are achieved.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join our team at our Brentwood head office, reporting directly to the Compliance Director. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social housing and will be responsible for overseeing completed works, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards, and signing off certifications for EICRs.The role will also involve post-completion inspections, shadowing operatives to ensure work is carried out to the required standards, and providing technical oversight. While the position is primarily office-based, occasional site visits will be required.
