A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher to join their successful MFL department from September 2025. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, creative and challenging Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (KS5 if applicable)
Use a range of pedagogical strategies to support students of all abilities, including EAL learners
Develop pupils' skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing in line with national curriculum and exam board standards
Foster cultural awareness and internationalism within lessons
Track and assess progress, set meaningful targets and provide feedback in line with school policy
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
A degree in Spanish, Modern Languages or a related subject
Ability to teach Spanish to GCSE (A-Level desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Spanish language and Hispanic culture
Desirable Experience
Teaching a second MFL (e.g., French)
Familiarity with AQA or Edexcel MFL specifications
