Qualified Social Worker, Youth Justice and Complex Safeguarding Team

Pay Rate - £35 per hour

Vitalis is recruiting an experienced Qualified Social Worker for a Youth Justice and Complex Safeguarding Service in Stockport.

The role involves managing a caseload, with specialist responsibilities for children remanded in custody and involved in looked after children procedures. You should have experience in assessments, managing complex cases, and planning targeted interventions to reduce offending and re-offending risks. You will also need to prepare high-quality reports, including sentencing proposals, and present information to courts when required.

The service provides interventions that ensure victim and community safety, support families, and are based on principles of desistance and engagement, considering the marginalization and disproportionality faced by children in the youth justice system.
