Location: Wirral

Rate: £36 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wirral Council for a Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing information and support to enable access to universal services.
  • Commissioning services to minimize risks and enhance quality of life for individuals, families, carers, and communities.
  • Demonstrating awareness of current issues and evidence-based practices.
  • Balancing needs and risks with rights and choices, considering power dynamics, and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and external agencies for assessment and care planning.
  • Maintaining accurate records and analyzing information in line with safeguarding policies.
  • Undertaking statutory safeguarding duties.
