Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, West Midlands Council, Children in Care Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.

The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Must have experience of directly supporting CiC or care leavers
2. Experience in supporting YP with complex needs / challenging behaviours
3. Understand the vulnerabilities of care leavers
4. Able to complete statutory visits and from this pathway plans
5. Able to build relationships and work systemically
6. Liaise with other professionals
7. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
8. 3 month Temporary Contract
9. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
