Qualified Social Worker - Team Manager

Location: West Midlands

Pay rate: £32 per hour

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Team Manager to lead a social work team, ensuring effective service delivery and positive outcomes for children and their families. The role involves overseeing social workers to meet statutory requirements related to child protection, working in accordance with social care legislation, and supporting a person-centred, safe, and effective social care environment.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Social Worker with significant management experience, including work with children in care and care proceedings. You will use your professional knowledge to make assessments and decisions, establish relationships with service users and agencies, and strive for the best outcomes for children.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Experience working with children and families, including vulnerable groups

  • At least 4 years of qualified experience
  • Excellent mediation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary, interagency settings
  • Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking approach
