Salary (per hour): Negotiable dependent on experience and pay scheme selected

Job Description

The successful candidate must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.

The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Proven skills and performance evidence through references and CVs.
  2. Skilled in assessing children’s needs.
  3. Undertaking section 47s and managing CIN plans, CP plans, and Court work.
  4. Enthusiastic and committed to Stoke on Trent’s improvement journey.
  5. Understanding of a strengths-based, restorative approach with a reflective and learning mindset.
  6. Participation in the extensive suite of learning and development on offer.
  7. 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
  8. 3 month Temporary Contract.
  9. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.

The successful Qualified Social Worker candidate will need to hold a Degree or equivalent, must be registered with Social Work England, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
