Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting registered and experienced Qualified Social Workers to join a busy team at a Sandwell based Looked after Children Team.

To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.

You will provide assessment, care management, and social work services to children and their families, in accordance with legislation, council, and group policies.

Primary Responsibilities as a Qualified Social Worker:

• Promote effective working arrangements with mental health services and other partners to support care-experienced young people
• Develop understanding of evidence-based practice and incorporate best practices into service delivery
• Participate in clinical supervision, risk assessments, and liaise with mental health services across boroughs
• Develop and review multi-agency Pathway Plans with young people to help them achieve their goals

Further Information:

Understanding and integrating key council policies related to social care with children and families, especially multi-disciplinary, integration, and whole-family approaches, is essential for Looked after Children Team Social Workers.
