Qualified Social Worker, Safeguarding Service

Pay rate: £42.24 per hour

Vitalis is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work in a Safeguarding Team in Sutton.

This role requires a Social Worker with at least 4 years post-qualification experience who has worked in a safeguarding role, completing S42 safeguarding work. Responsibilities include triaging incoming safeguarding referrals, assessing whether they meet the threshold for enquiry, and determining the next course of action to address the risk. Social Workers will formulate protection plans that prioritize the needs and voices of service users, integrating input from various professionals, families, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes. Confidence in responding to complex scenarios and crisis situations such as self-neglect and domestic abuse is essential.
